Shoham Sabach, Associate Professor
I am an Associate Professor in the William Davidson Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Management at the Technion–Israel Institute of Technology. My research focuses on Continuous Optimization: Theory and Algorithms, development and analysis of Optimization Methods for large-scale optimization problems, Applications of Optimization Methods in Engineering and Science.
The PALM paper (co-authored with Marc Teboulle and Jerome Bolte) was selected as the winner of the 2017 SIAG/Optimization Prize. The prize is awarded to the authors of the most outstanding paper, as determined by the prize committee, on a topic in optimization published in English in a peer-reviewed journal within the four calendar years preceding the year of the award.
